Chinese New Year takes place this year on Monday, February 8th, and as usual, London's celebrations are set to be the biggest outside of Asia with a full on parade that finishes at Chinatown.
For those of you more unfamiliar with the tradition, the Chinese New Year marks the turn of the Chinese Calendar which is lunisolar, meaning that it can fall on different dates. The monkey is the ninth of the 12 animals in the Chinese Zodiac and although it's considered to be the most unlucky year, people who are born in this year are said to be witty and smart.
